Caledonia Romana
Digital version of Robert Stuarts classic 19th C work on the Romans in Scotland is now available free on the web. Some interpretations have moved on since Stuarts day but this is still a facinating and beautiful insight into the subject from the era of the Antiquarian.
Comitatus
A historical re-enactment group based in the north of England.
This group breaks the mould of most Roman re-enactment societies which tend in the main to focus only on the first century AD. Comitatus portrays Romans from the other centuries, a period which in reality comprises the bulk of interaction between Rome and ancient Scotland.
